Every year we measure our students’ performance carefully, using the Stanford Achievement Test, a standardized national test used by many private schools. We are proud of our strong results: our latest test scores for 2012 place OUS as a whole in the top 26 percent of comparable private schools nationwide. Our third graders, for example, are ranked in the top 17 percent nationwide and our second graders in the top 20 percent.

We are also the only private school in the area that is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS), which independently vouches for the high quality of our instruction, curriculum, facilities and staff.
