Physical EducationAll of our Eagles, grades PRE K-4th, participate in physical education. Our goal is for the students to be excited about P.E. To reach this goal, a variety of instructional content is offered. An example of the diverse lessons include: rhythm, coordination, fitness, and team games. Activities in P.E. focus on the development of the individual, as well as the development of the group. Student participation opens the door of opportunity to gain lifelong learning skills, such as following directions and working cooperatively with others while refraining from inappropriate behavior. Teamwork and good sportsmanship are values emphasized in this class. Regardless of individual athletic abilities and performance, students learn to respect, support, and encourage one another. This responsible personal and social esteem is promoted throughout the year. Units:
